Coven: Nomad. After parting ways he briefly joins the Denali Coven but finds he can't live the "vegetarian" lifestyle.
Companions: Victoria and James. After he parts ways with them, he briefly is Irina's partner.

Additional Information: Laurent leaves the Denali coven when he finds living as a "vegetarian" the same lifestyle choice as the Cullen Coven, isn't to his liking. After meeting up again with Victoria, he does her a favour and visits Forks to see how easy it is to access Bella. Once there he finds her irresistable and attempts to take her life, though he is stopped with the appearance of Sam, Jacob and the rest of the pack. They chase him down and destroy him.

Laurent is travelling with James and Victoria, aimlessly taking lives as they go, though he is growing tired of James' games.
Travelling through Washington on the outskirts of Forks, they hear the Cullens family playing baseball and go to investigate.
Finding a family of vampires playing baseball with golden eyes isn't what he expected, but asks to join their game. The family is on guard and before long why is revealed, one of their family members is a human.
One of his partners, James is a tracker and takes on the challenge of tracking her. Having grown tired of his games, he leaves James and his mate Victoria and goes to the Cullens family to warn them of his potential. Carlisle tells him of the Denali clan who live the same way they do, he decides to go and check them out and join them.
After Edward leaves Bella, Laurent unexpectedly comes across Bella, alone in the meadow. Realising that the Cullens have left her behind and knowing that Victoria wants to take Bella's life in return for her mates James, Laurent decides that he would be doing Bella a favour by quickly taking her life instead.
Before he gets a chance, he realises that there is five huge werewolves in the clearing with them and they've got their eyes on him alone. Leaving Bella behind and fleeing for his life, the wolves are quickly on his heels and he is destroyed.
